On the upcoming January 25, Palazzo Garzolini di Toppo Wassermann, residence of the Scuola Superiore dell'Università di Udine, will host the 2nd PreCanMed Workshop. The event is dedicated to students, experts in biomedical research and interested citizens that want to get updated on the latest progress of precision anti-cancer medicine.
The workshop will include interventions by invited scientists in the field of cancer biology and immunology. Jarno Drost, researcher at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology in Utrecht, the Netherlands, will show his work on last generation lab model systems to study tumors at the single patient basis.  Massimiliano Pagani, professor in molecular biology at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italy,  will dig deep into a very hot topic in the field of advanced anti-tumor therapies, presenting his studies on the interaction between the patient's immune system and  the cancer cell.
