Schools and Workshops
PreCanMed Workshops are organized about every 6 months and offer participants an overview on project evolution and achievements as well as in-depth analyses and debates on different topics related to the new enabling cancer technologies and to precision oncology.
PreCanMed Summer Schools will focus on more specific and technical aspects regarding tumor organoid development and living biobanks. Two of them are foreseen during the project period and will take place in 2018 and in 2019.
Main targets of these public educational events will be bachelor, master and predoctoral students as well as the scientific and biotech entrepreneurial communities.
1st PreCanMed Workshop
Participants to the first PreCanMed Workshop will get an overview of the project’s workplan and goals, and will learn about the latest advances and issues in precision anticancer medicine, cancer basic and translational research.

1st PreCanMed Summer School
Lay your hands on tumor organoids! The first PreCanMed Summer School will provide the participants with the opportunity to directly experimenting this advanced technology, handle a tumor organoid culture and design drug treatments. A keynote lecture on the role of Bioinformatics in Precision Immuno-oncology, by professor Zlatko Trajanoski from MUI, will open this three-day educational event.
